College Welcomes the First Massachusetts Chapter of
The Gamma Beta Phi Society

Although chapters of the Gamma Beta Phi Society exist nationwide, the Quincy College chapter will be the first in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Gamma Beta Phi is a prestigious organization that emphasizes both academic excellence and service for students.

Eligible students must be committed to excellence in education, good character, service, enrolled in a degree program and have completed at least twelve credit hours of college work with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Eligible students can learn more about Gamma Beta Phi at upcoming informational sessions. Representatives from Gamma Beta Phi will be on campus for the following dates:

 

Wednesday, September 22, 2004
10:00-10:45am, 12:00-12:45pm, 5:30-6:00pm & 6:00-6:30pm

Thursday, September 23, 2004
10:00-10:45am, 12:00-12:45pm, 5:30-6:00pm & 6:00-6:30pm

The Induction Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, October 20th, 2004 at 6:00pm at the Bethany Congregational Church (across the street from Coddington Hall).

Join President Sean Barry, members of the Governing Board, and the Executive Director of Gamma Beta Phi as the College celebrates the achievements of its founding members. Members will receive certificates indicating their status as charter members.
