Introduction to BiotechnologyNC
This non-credit course is designed to give students a basic understanding of the skills and techniques involved in manufacturing biopharmaceuticals. This hands-on intensive course will give students exposure to a college-level instruction, lab space and equipment.
The program runs July 10, 2017-July 20, 2017, Monday through Thursday from 9am until 12pm.
Space is limited to 16 students.
$75.00 per student.
Requirements & Registration:
- High School students must be entering junior or senior year in the Fall of 2017.
- Completion of Algebra 1, Biology, and Chemistry required. Confirmation of course completion by transcript or letter from high school guidance Counselor.
A $500 Scholarship will be awarded to students who apply full-time to Quincy College as a STEM
(Science,Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) major and who successfully completes the course with 100% participation as verified by instructor.
