Quincy College will begin competition this fall in Men’s Soccer. Head Coach Idris Senyonjo will lead the Granite against several local quality opponents including Mass Bay, Bunker Hill, and Division 1 Power Massasoit. The team will also travel in pre-season to face NCAA Division 3 Mount Ida and NAIA Power Fisher College to prepare for the regular season.
Athletics Mission Statement
The mission of the Quincy College Athletic program is to provide our student athletes with the opportunity to enhance their overall educational experience through participation in intercollegiate or intramural athletics. It is our belief that student athletes gain worthwhile experience in teamwork and leadership, while also developing character and integrity.
The Athletic Department’s goal is that each student athlete will be dedicated to success both in the classroom and on the playing fields. Finally, student athletes will act morally and socially responsible in their role as a representative of the Quincy College community.

First Year Head Coach Idris Senyonjo will lead the Quincy College Men’s soccer team as they enter Region 21 of the NJCAA. Coach Senyonjo was born and raised in Uganda, and has been involved with soccer both in Africa and in the United States. Mr. Senyonjo played High School and Semi-Pro Soccer in Uganda for the respected Express FC organization. In 2009 Idris moved to the United States to attend UMass Boston to study Biology and continue his soccer career. After earning his Bachelor’s degree, Coach Senyonjo shifted from playing to coaching. Since 2012, he has coached many youth levels including the U19 Mass Youth District 2 team along with the U18 Girls and U12 Boys teams for America FC United based out of Quincy.
Along with building the Quincy College Men’s program, Coach Senyonjo works at Best Doctors Inc., a company that provides patients with second opinion treatment as well as help confirm diagnosis.
In his spare time, Coach Senyonjo enjoys traveling and exploring various parts of the world.
