BTN 001, Introduction to Biotechnology is a non-credit course designed to give students entering junior and senior year in high school in Fall of  2018 a basic understanding of the skills and techniques involved in manufacturing biopharmaceuticals. This hands-on intensive course will give students exposure to a college-level instruction, lab space and equipment.

Requirements & Registration:

  • High School students must be entering junior or senior year in the Fall of 2018.
  • Completion of Algebra 1, Biology, and Chemistry required. Confirmation of course completion by transcript or letter from High School Guidance Counselor.
  • Counselor’s recommendation required prior to enrollment.
