The Quincy College Financial Planning and Services Non-Credit Certificate program is an 8 week program that meets once a week and will provide students with a basic understanding of the importance of banking, savings, and good credit.
Financial literacy is important in handling daily tasks such as balancing a budget to major life decisions such as buying a home, or funding an education. During this course students will learn how a checking account works, what using a credit card really means, and how to avoid debt. Learning these skills prepares individuals to make smarter financial choices.

- Setting up a personal budget, and analyzing cash flow
- Savings and Insurance Options
- Risk Management and Asset Protection
- Retirement Roadblocks/Challenges, and retirement plan options
Meet the Instructor
Brilene Faherty is a Financial Advisor in Quincy, MA. She works with clients throughout New England to identify, plan and execute strategies designed for securing their desired financial future.
Brilene received her Masters of Business Administration at the University of Massachusetts, Boston and graduated, Cum Laude, from Fairfield University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English.
Brilene was recognized as one of the 2014 South Shore Stars 40 under 40 and 2015 Cape and Plymouth Business 40 under 40.
