An early holiday present for Quincy College Granite Athletics: The Men’s Basketball team is ranked #1 in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 21 and ranked 10th nationally for all of NJCAA Division III Men’s Basketball which includes two-year colleges from New York, Texas, North Carolina, Illinois, and beyond.
Quincy College Granite Men’s Basketball went undefeated in the month of December, extending their winning streak to 13 games for a record of 13-1 in their first season of play.
On Tuesday, December 19th, Quincy College Granite defeated Quinsigamond Community College with a final score of 91 – 67.
NJCAA Player of Week for the week of December 11th Dajour Dunkley led the offensive effort with 33 points and 10 assists, followed by Deven Palmer and Jonathan Daviega with 19 points apiece. Palmer also had 10 rebounds and Daviega 4 steals.
Quincy College Granite Men’s Basketball will face Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology on January 13th. Quincy College Granite are seeking to continue their strong play in the competitive Region 21 basketball.
