Quincy College Granite men’s soccer team left Holyoke Sept. 8th very disappointed on the losing end of a 2-1 score, having dominated most of the game. In a rematch home opener on Sept. 15th at Creedon Field in North Quincy, Quincy College Granite faced Holyoke Community College once again with a different outcome.

Commanding play from the beginning to end, Quincy College Granite came away with their first victory of the season with a 2-1 win in National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 21 play. Quincy College is 1-1 on the 2018-2019 season.

Quincy peppered the Holyoke goalie in the early minutes as Freshman #4 Lorkens Exumat of Dorchester connected on his 2nd goal of the season by blasting in a corner kick to give the Granite the early lead. Quincy continued dominant play in the opponents end led by Exumat, # 11 Herby Milien of Dorchester, #9 Kenny Ofori of Hartford, CT, and #8 Alexssaander Lopes of Dorchester.
