High Intensity Strength Training
Friday, January 4, 2019
1:00pm-2:00pm
QC Health & Fitness Center, Presidents Place Lower Level
Dr. Wayne Westcott will present explanations and demonstrations of four advanced strength training techniques known as High-Intensity Strength Training. Although Wayne has thoroughly researched and written books on this topic, he wants this workshop to be at least 75% actual participation in performing these techniques on the Nautilus machines and other resistance equipment. Using appropriate weight loads you will experience Breakdown Training, Assisted Training, Pre-Fatigue Training, and Triple-5 Training. Research has shown these advanced training techniques to be highly effective for overcoming strength plateaus and enhancing muscle development. You will find that these high- intensity training techniques will become important tools in your strength training toolbox.
