Financial Aid Disclosures

Constitution Day

On September 17, 1787, delegates signed the final draft of the U.S. Constitution, establishing a new federal government. Two hundred years later, federal law designated September 17th as Constitution Day, establishing it as a National Day of Observance. Also known as Citizenship Day, September 17th additionally recognizes those who have become United States citizens by either birth or naturalization. As required by law, agencies and schools receiving federal funding throughout the fiscal year are required to host educational programs highlighting the importance of this date and its historical significance.

To celebrate Constitution Day, the Enrollment Management Division and Office of Student Financial Assistance invite all students, faculty, and staff to participate in events and/or activities that commemorate September 17th as both Constitution and Citizenship Day. Information regarding these events will be available through Quincy College Community Announcements and other college-related communications.
