Steps to Savings
To enroll in courses at Quincy College and access the $200 per course discount, please follow the steps below:
Apply to Quincy College
You can apply to Quincy College online by completing the unique Big Y application. By entering BIGY in the waiver code field at the end of the application, we will waive the $30 application fee!
Submit an official high school and college (if applicable) transcripts to the Quincy College Admissions Office at 1250 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02169.
Apply for Financial Aid
Take the Placement Test
Complete the Quincy College Placement Test for Math and English. The test is offered Monday and Wednesday 12:30 – 2 pm and Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 8:30 am – 2 pm. An appointment is not required but please bring a valid photo ID. Learn more about the Testing Centers>>
Meet with an Advisor
Register for Classes
Register online through the QC Portal or in person at the Registrar’s Office. Please have a valid ID and a recent Big Y pay stub when registering in person. If you are registering online, please send to the Admissions Office a copy of a recent pay stub and have an ID (i.e. driver’s license, passport) on file. This will ensure the discount is applied to your account.
Plan a Visit
Big Y employees can visit the QC campus to learn about the available opportunities. QC offers open houses every semester, VIP days every other month, and we have counselors available to talk to students every day.
