I. Overview.
This policy outlines the requirements that students must meet to qualify for an Associate or Bachelor's degree at Quincy College.
II. Degree Requirements
A. Associate Degree Requirements
- Academic Credit:
- Minimum of 60 semester hours required.
- At least 30 semester hours must be completed at Quincy College, including the final semester.
- Academic Performance:
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
- Curriculum:
- Fulfill all specific course requirements for the chosen degree program.
- Administrative Requirements:
- Maintain a satisfactory college citizenship record.
- Settle all financial obligations to the college.
- Participate in College-wide or program-specific assessment activities.
- Complete an exit interview if receiving financial aid.
B. Bachelor's Degree Requirements
- Academic Credit:
- Minimum of 120 semester hours required.
- Remaining requirements mirror those of the Associate degree.
III. Policy Enforcement
- The Registrar’s Office is responsible for ensuring that all degree candidates meet the requirements specified in this policy before conferring degrees.
