I. Overview.

This policy outlines the requirements that students must meet to qualify for an Associate or Bachelor's degree at Quincy College.

II. Degree Requirements

A. Associate Degree Requirements

  • Academic Credit:
    • Minimum of 60 semester hours required.
    • At least 30 semester hours must be completed at Quincy College, including the final semester.
  • Academic Performance:
    • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • Curriculum:
    • Fulfill all specific course requirements for the chosen degree program.
  • Administrative Requirements:
    • Maintain a satisfactory college citizenship record.
    • Settle all financial obligations to the college.
    • Participate in College-wide or program-specific assessment activities.
    • Complete an exit interview if receiving financial aid.

B. Bachelor's Degree Requirements

  • Academic Credit:
    • Minimum of 120 semester hours required.
    • Remaining requirements mirror those of the Associate degree.

III. Policy Enforcement

  • The Registrar’s Office is responsible for ensuring that all degree candidates meet the requirements specified in this policy before conferring degrees.
