I: Overview

This policy establishes the criteria for earning a certificate at Quincy College.

II. Certificate Requirements

  • Academic Credit:
    • Complete the required number of semester hours, with at least half earned at Quincy College, including the final semester.
  • Academic Performance:
    • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • Curriculum:
    • Fulfill all specific course requirements for the chosen certificate program.
  • Administrative Requirements:
    • Maintain a satisfactory record of college citizenship.
    • Settle all financial obligations to the college.
    • Participate in College-wide or program-specific assessment activities.
    • Complete an exit interview if receiving financial aid.

III. Policy Enforcement

  • The Registrar’s Office will verify the completion of all requirements and is authorized to issue certificates to qualifying students.

IV. Amendments

  • These policies are subject to review and modification as needed to align with educational standards and institutional goals.
