For the fifth consecutive year, Quincy College has been named a 2016 Military Friendly School by Victory Media, the leader in successfully connecting the military and civilian worlds.

The Accreditation Review Council on Education in Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (ARC/STSA) approved Quincy College's request to increase the enrollment cap on its Surgical Technology program annual cohort from 15 students to 18 students.

The Plymouth campus in Cordage Park has expanded by nearly 4,000 square feet – adding new labs, classroom space, a new library and bookstore – and more than doubled its enrollment to more than 1,000 students in the last five years.

The school had added three associate's degree and eight certificate programs, and the percentage of students seeking degrees is up to 87 percent. Facilities are ever changing, with new labs and learning space constantly opening or in the works.

According to data from the U.S. Department of Education’s innovative tool, the College Scorecard, Quincy College students are ranked #1 as Top Salary Earners in Massachusetts and New England across two-year public colleges.

Quincy College recently took another step to bolster its readiness for a potential future emergency.
