Overview

If you’re learning English and dreaming of a career in healthcare, Quincy College is here to help you take the first step. Our ESOL for Healthcare course is designed for English language learners who want to build strong english skills and confidence needed for a rewarding job in the healthcare field.

In this 8-week course, you’ll practice medical terminology, read medical forms, and learn how to communicate with patients, families, and coworkers. You’ll also be introduced to the U.S. healthcare system and explore career pathways like Certified Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Assistant, or Practical Nursing training. Books and supplies are provided at no charge.
